We may be in the thick of the holidays, but believe it or not, Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS) is right around the corner. When industry members from every sector descend upon the Moscone Center, a vibrant labyrinth of food products awaits them. And while it’s nice to support and sample old favorites as we traipse around the show floor, it is the new products that truly enrich the experience. There are certainly a lot of dairy offerings on display at WFFS, but among the cream of the crop is Ambrosi, the decades-old industry mainstay that consistently delivers traditional Italian cheeses. This year, the Ambrosi booth is showcasing its signature cheese line, featuring new additions to its unique and authentic portfolio of products.
Luigi Ambrosi, Business Development and Marketing, Ambrosi“We will be putting on display the Millennials Essentials cheese line, which is a selection of highly-requested specialty table cheeses from our full fixed weight precut Millennials Line,” Luigi Ambrosi, Business Development and Marketing, told me. “The ‘Essentials’ are backed by a strong trade and consumer marketing program.”
Ambrosi is presenting several of its cheeses, including two new ones: naturally oak-wood Smoked Scamorza and Parmigiano Reggiano Crisps. The Smoked Scamorza, available in ‘Caciotta’ and Log format, boasts a mouth-filling, pleasant smokiness which complements the delicate butteriness of the cheese. The snackable Parmigiano Crisps are fresh- and artisanally-baked in Long Island, New York, and are sold in large quantities at Ambrosi’s retail flagship store ‘Ceriello.’ Both of the new products have seen a highly-favorable response from both the industry and consumers.
“Since we have introduced the Smoked Scamorza, we gained interest from a lot of accounts around the U.S.,” Luigi said. “This cheese is so versatile that people have been using it as a table cheese, melted on top of a burger, and on pizza. In fact, it was even specially brought into the menu of an Iconic Brooklyn pizzeria.”

Ambrosi’s WFFS display will also feature its Grana Padano ‘Pezzo’ cheese stick net, a delicious, healthy, and functional gourmet snack. The Grana Padano ‘Pezzo’ snack is high in protein, low in fat and calories, and rich in nutrients like calcium, making it a healthy and tasty snack perfect for lunch boxes, post-workouts, and more. The cheese is naturally lactose free and is packaged using innovative darfresh technology, which preserves the product’s freshness for up to six hours outside of the refrigerator.
With such versatile and enticing offerings on display, booth #2230 is a must-visit for all who seek to bring their customers the very best in taste, health, and convenience.
