Gnocchi With Mr. 8 Sauce

Adapted from Mr. 8, a signature dish at Kasar Cheese & more in Brescia, Italy

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

1 16-ounce package potato gnocchi

1 1/2 cups whole milk

1/3 cup heavy cream

4 1/2 ounces Taleggio

4 1/2 ounces Provolone Dolce

3 1/2 ounces Pecorino Toscano

2 ounces Asiago

2 ounces Fontina Val D’Aosta

2 ounces Montasio

1 1/4 ounces Gorgonzola

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat milk and cream until hot, but do not allow it to boil.

  2. Stir in the cheeses until well combined.

  3. Reduce heat to low while yo cook the gnocchi according to the package directions.

  4. Drain gnocchi and serve with the sauce.
